I think it depends on which Yo! Sushi you go to eat at but either way, don't expect much. I feel like they distract you from the food by overdoing the decoration of the restaurant and by the whole conveyer belt idea. I've been to two of their restaurants and the first time was a lot better. The sushi is pretty mediocre and does not taste very fresh. You have to be careful with these places because you'd never know if the sushi you have chose off the conveyer belt has been going around in circles for hours on that thing. Some of the sushi taste warm from being on that conveyer belt for so long and the water is just tap water!
Oh and by the way, you must pay for the water. I'm from California, and we were in a massive drought and we still didn't pay for water at restaurants. This restaurant is for those who do not know good sushi and are just there for the ambiance. If you want real, fresh sushi, go to Stick N Sushi in Covenant Garden. A little pricy but you can taste the freshness. -

I wanna rate ZERO if I can. The WORST japanese restaurant I've ever been to. It's a trash. The hot food is not crispy and hot, it tastes like they just reheat the food from last night. Sushi and sashimi are not cold and fresh, and the taste ia bad. Sushi rice tastes like tasteless glue, and the sauce on sushi doesn't match the flavor. Miso soup is too light because they dilute with too much water. service is bad as well, they kept bordering me with silly things. For examples, I just told a waiter what I want for drinks and 1 mins later his colleague came to me and asked the same question. I asked them to bring me the bill for THREE time before they did the job. The price is not cheap (30+ per person). With this price, you get better japanese food easily. If you are lucky enough to see this before you started eating here, that's great! Just take you belonging and f**king RUN!

Walked in really in the mood for sushi but left pretty dissatisfied. We were happy to sit at the bar instead of a table, and like the flexibility of choosing our dishes from the rotating conveyor belt. Unfortunately a lot of the good items were gone when we sat down. We waited patiently for more rolls to get made, but staff were not working very quickly so the selection was mediocre. Rolls that we did get were fine but nothing special. Taste like they had been sitting there a while and not made fresh. You also have the option to order hot food from the menu, but a waiter did not check in with us once. We had to flag someone down to pay the bill and leave. Decently priced, but would not return.

The food tasted good, but some of the hot dishes were, well, not hot. The service was incredibly slow and inefficient.
I ordered some fried chicken. It never came. I told them we were still waiting for it, it still never came. People were served quicker than us even when they arrived later. I also ordered the chicken katsu, which did come out but looked like it had been sitting there for ages and wasn't very hot.
The sushi on the conveyer was just okay. Nothing special. Most of the rolls were falling apart and looked very unappetising.
Again with everyone else, they never offered water for the table. Despite their legal requirement to serve tap water when asked, they seemed unaware and wanted to offer their £1.50 filtered tap water. It's quite outrageous.
When we went to pay, we told the server that the chicken was never brought out. She apologised but still proceeded to add service charge to the bill without asking permission. They said 'it's already been added on, is that okay' which forces you into that awkward situation of not being able to say no comfortably.
You're paying a premium for poor service and distinctly average (to below average) food.
You're in an amazing city, and you can definitely get far superior sushi for the same price elsewhere.
Definitely one to avoid.
